The beautiful sanctuary is large and is mainly entered from the front of the building. There is a gallery reached by stairs from the front door. In the north transept there is a Charles Rennie Mackintosh mural which was believed to have been painted by the artist himself in 1900. This was uncovered in 2004, having previously been thought to be destroyed. Four blocks of cushioned individual chairs divide the Sanctuary forming a centre isle formed. An audio visual system is available for conferences and presentations.
A large upper level allows presentations to be seen by all who attend the meeting, concert or conference. Wheelchair entry is via the rear entrance.
The Kitchen which serves West Port is well equipped and spacious to allow two / three workers to work safely and efficiently.
