The Guild

The Church of Scotland Guild is a movement within the Church of Scotland which invites and encourages both women and men to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and enables them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action.

With around 23,000 members, the Guild is one of Scotland’s largest voluntary organisation. Although women make up the bulk of our membership, increasingly, men are becoming members and taking active roles at local and national levels. The Guild’s motto which is taken from Acts 27, verse 23:

‘Whose we are and Whom we serve.’

Since 1997, the Guild has followed a pattern of adopting a three year strategy to guide its worship, study and project work, focussing on a different aspect of that strategy each year.

The strategy for 2018-2021 is “One Journey, Many Roads!”

Dysart St Clair Guild meets fortnightly on a Thursday at 2pm and all are w2elcome to attend. Afternoons typically include a speaker, tea and biscuits and sometimes a stall.

GREAT NEWS!  We’re back!  The Dysart St Clair Guild are meeting at the Church Hall on Thursday 9th September 2021 at 2pm.  All are welcome!
